A Case of Including Information and Communication Technology
in Natural Sciences School Lessons on the Seashore
This article investigates the opinions of pupils about natural sciences school
lessons on the seashore with information and communication technology
(ICT) and experiential learning. The research was conducted with 95 pupils
who attended 4th grade in Slovenian elementary schools. The school lessons
on the seashore were carried out by means of ICT and experiential learning
and included all the stages of Kolb’s cycle. This research has shown that pupils
viewed the school lessons on the seashore as very interesting and instructive.
The pupils enjoyed the school lessons and liked the activities with ICT very
much. A lot of them stated that they would like to participate in such natural
sciences school lessons in the future.
