3. Mi: glasovi in pogledi/We: Voices and Visions
• In groups or pairs, interview locals of various age groups, national
or ethnic backgrounds and occupations about their views of the
local life (what they like and what could be improved). First, plan
and prepare carefully. The interviews can be conducted in Slove-
nian but the written summaries of what each person said should
be made in English (the whole interview can be recorded to help
you). The summaries will be published in the school newspaper.
• Take photographs of various locals at their work (at their wor-
kplace or while they are doing what they consider important in
their free time). Divide the work among the whole class and to-
gether decide on who will do what. The goal is to prepare a photo
exhibition (not necessarily at school) whose main message will be
every local’s contribution to the community. The displayed pho-
tographs should be accompanied by your comments (in all the
languages spoken by students at your school) about the unique
value of each represented job or activity.
4. Vodeni sprehod/A Walking Tour
• In groups, make an itinerary of a tour of your hometown. All the
key stops should be agreed on together.
• Venture into town to make photos or recordings of all the stops.
You can also finalise the itinerary while exploring on foot. Use the
photos or recordings to create a YouTube video representing Bre-
zovica in English that might appeal to your peers from other co-
untries. (Alternatively, create a paper-based tourist brochure.)
• Make recordings of the information about the included sites in
English and link them to QR codes created with the help of your
teachers and placed around the town for the visitors to use. Con-
sider including environmentally important information or advice
to visitors on how to act sustainably.

5. Lahkih nog naokrog/Get Your Moves On
• First the teacher and later one of the students should call out in-
structions for walking, running, stopping, jumping and squatting,
while students should move according to the instructions.
• Call out different numbers from two to eight. Students must find
enough partners to quickly form a group with that number of
members and huddle together.
