Multisensory Learning Tool for Practice Graphomotorical Skills
in an Inclusive Classroom
Graphomotor skills have always been considered a primary means of achiev-
ing higher goals. These extremely important skills are indispensable with all
activities related to literacy. One possible way of exercising graphomotor skills
is exercising by means of aids. This article demonstrates an innovative multi-
sensory didactic tool for exercising graphomotor skills, and provides findings
about key characteristics that didactic tool must have to meet the indicators
of efficiency, universality and inclusiveness. The results obtained by observing
children testing the accessory, children’s answered questions and conversa-
tions with professional workers are in the article presented in the qualitative
form with descriptions, analyses, and interpretations. The initial prediction and
the final conclusion that the collaboration of five experts produced an acces-
sory with all its characteristics that is currently unique in this field and brings
to the theory and practice a minor, but at the same time important and inter-
esting milestone and as well contribution to the science of teaching.
