Katarina Habe is an Associate Profes-
sor of Psychology at the Academy of
Music, University of Ljubljana. Her
area of expertise is the psychology of
music, where she successfully com-
bines the analytical approach of a
psychologist and the intuitive holistic
mind of a musician. Her scientific
publications are recognized at home
and abroad, and her professional
contributions in various public media
resonate in Slovenia. Her research
work is currently focused on studying
the effects of music on the psycho-
physical well-being of individuals and
on developing strategies to promote
holistic well-being in musicians. She
sees herself as an ambassador of
music, as she wants to encourage the
general public to recognize and use
the healing effects of music, and to
encourage musicians to recognize
their own potential and become
aware of the beauty and responsi-
bility of the musical mission. As a
musician, she wants to spread a pos-
itive message through her music that
touches the souls of her listeners.
